Top Dog, a fast-food restaurant in Berkeley, California, has apparently fired one of its employees after he was identified by Twitter users as a participant in Friday night’s white-supremacist Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia. The account held by @YesYoureRacist zeroed in on photos of a man identified as Cole White, which to led to information indicating that he worked for the Durant Avenue location of Top Dog. The Berkeleyside news site reported Sunday that White was “immediately” dismissed, according to employees. The restaurant on Saturday posted a flier at its entrance, stating: “The actions of those in Charlottesville are not supported by top dog. We believe in individual freedom and voluntary association for everyone.”
