Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) said Republicans who could challenge President Trump for the GOP presidential nomination in 2020 “see weakness” in the president. “Look, it’s not a nice business we’re in,” McCain told The New York Times, which reported on efforts by prominent Republicans to ostensibly keep their names in the running for the presidency despite Trump’s all-but-certain 2020 re-election campaign. McCain, fresh off his “no” vote which tanked the latest Obamacare repeal attempt in the Senate, is undergoing treatment for brain cancer.
