North Korea said it was “carefully examining” the possibility of launching a pre-emptive strike on the U.S. territory of Guam, just hours after President Trump said further threats from the rogue regime would be “met with fire and fury like the world has never seen.” Trump’s comments came following reports that the North Korean military is able to produce miniaturized nuclear warheads that can be attached to ballistic missiles. North Korea’s state-run news agency, KCNA, published a statement from a spokesman for the Korean People’s Army who said a pre-emptive strike plan would be “put into practice in a multi-current and consecutive way any moment.”
