The complicated love life of Orlando Bloom continues to inspire note and comment.
The legendary Lothario, who earned global respect as the scourge of Justin Bieber, connecting on the young popster’s jaw with a tasty right hook in an Ibiza restaurant in the summer of 2014, was in the news last week after he was spotted making out with Bieber’s ex, Selena Gomez, at a Las Vegas club.
He was, some speculated, getting his revenge on JB, who allegedly provoked Bloom in the course of the Ibiza incident by gloating, “Miranda told me, ‘I want to make a man out of you,’” (referring to Victoria’s Secret model Miranda Kerr, with whom Bloom was in the midst of a tricky breakup after a reasonably serious relationship).

However, lucky for Orlando, it seems his new girlfriend, Katy Perry, takes the view that what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.
For just days after the footage of Orlando and Selena getting up close and personal hit the headlines, Katy was this weekend photographed snuggling up to and kissing Orlando on board Roman Abramovich’s mega yacht, Eclipse, which is moored off Cannes for this week’s film festival.
We don’t know how he does it, but clever old Orlando somehow always seems to come up smelling of roses, doesn’t he?
