White House lawyers Donald McGahn and Ty Cobb argued about how many requested emails and documents they should turn over to the Robert Mueller-led probe. McGahn reportedly expressed concerns that being too forthcoming could limit any later assertion of executive privilege and would set a precedent that would weaken the White House.
