On the same day Katy Perry dropped her new album Witness, one-time friend and now nemesis Taylor Swift released all of her albums to streaming services. Swift’s albums are back on Tidal, Pandora and, yes, even Spotify. Back in 2014, Swift famously pulled her music from Spotify and moved it all to Apple Music exclusively. Swift said the reversal was to celebrate her album 1989 selling more than 10 million albums worldwide.
But this appears to be just another shot in the long-running feud between the pop stars, which culminated last month with Perry releasing the diss track “Swish Swish” last month.
The internet predictably had some thoughts.
