President Donald Trump on Thursday pushed a claim from a Parkland, Florida high-school student that CNN gave him a “scripted” question at a town hall event on Wednesday night. “Just like so much of CNN, Fake News. That’s why their ratings are so bad! MSNBC may be worse,” Trump tweeted. Earlier in the day, CNN denied the claim from the student, Colton Haab. “Colton’s father withdrew his name from participation before the forum began, which we regretted but respected,” the network said in a statement. Haab, an ROTC cadet who helped to protect his classmates during the massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School last week, said he wanted to ask about arming school officials.
