Kayleigh McEnany, the pro-Trump on-air CNN contributor who officially departed the network last week, has landed a job at the Republican National Committee, Politico reported Monday. She is set to serve as the new national spokesperson. The Daily Beast can confirm that McEnany had been in talks for months interviewing for a top post in the RNC communications shop. After leaving CNN, McEnany also recently anchored a TV-news-style online video segment—for the “Real News” project spearheaded by President Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law Lara Trump—promoted heavily by Trump’s reelection campaign.
