Radical British cleric Anjem Choudary has been found guilty of inviting support for the Islamic State terror group, the BBC reports. The 49-year-old has links to Islamist militants and has allegedly sworn his allegiance to ISIS. In a YouTube video, he urged his followers to support the self-proclaimed caliphate. Choudary was convicted in July, but the trial’s verdict could not be reported until Tuesday, The Guardian reports. He faces as much as 10 years in prison, and his sentence will be announced in September.
