Vogue magazine will likely put Melania Trump on its cover, Anna Wintour told The Wall Street Journal in an interview published Thursday. The iconic fashion magazine made its first-ever presidential endorsement last year, backing Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton against the eventual winner Donald Trump; and Wintour herself has been an outspoken supporter of Clinton and Barack Obama. Former first lady Michelle Obama appeared on three Vogue covers, and despite the political differences, Melania Trump will likely not be left off. “We have a tradition of always covering whoever is the first lady at Vogue and I can’t imagine that this time would be any different,” Wintour explained. Melania did grace the magazine’s cover once before, in 2005—long before her husband ran for president.
