One Dead in Santa Monica Party Bus Shooting

One person was killed and four others injured early Saturday morning after a violent altercation between guests of two party buses in Santa Monica. Santa Monica police said the suspected shooters were guests on one party bus who fired shots at people from another party bus after some sort of dispute. “One of the buses had a group of people that got off the bus, got into an altercation of some sort with another group that was on another bus that was directly parked behind it, at which point shots were fired,” Lt. Saul Rodriguez of the Santa Monica police said Saturday morning. Three people were treated for injuries after the incident, while a fourth guest suffered only minor wounds, police said. The fifth victim later died of her injuries in a hospital. No suspects were in custody as of Saturday morning, but police said they found four weapons at the scene.
