Twelve men have been convicted for their roles in the 2006 Mumbai commuter-train bombings, which killed 189 people and injured more than 800 in seven blasts during the evening rush hour. India accused Pakistan of being behind the attacks, a charge Pakistan has denied. “Justice has been done for the people of Mumbai. I will ask for the strictest punishment when I argue for their sentences,” the prosecutor said. The trial lasted eight years, and called 200 witnesses.
