A building explosion and fire in Minneapolis on Wednesday has left at least 13 people injured, six of them critically. The building housed the Otanga Grocery, which has two floors of residential apartments. At a conference in the morning, Minneapolis Fire Chief John Fruetel said it was unknown whether all occupants were accounted for. The freezing conditions in Minneapolis made fighting the fire difficult as the fire hoses can freeze and the water spray onto the fire can quickly turn into ice underneath the firefighters.
