A bus carrying a junior league hockey team collided with a tractor-trailer in western Canada late Friday, leaving at least 14 people dead. The Humboldt Broncos were on their way to Nipawin, Saskatchewan to play the Nipawin Hawks when the crash occurred. Authorities have yet to identify those killed in the incident, and it wasn’t immediately clear if the victims were hockey players or coaches. Another 14 people were injured in the crash, three of whom are reportedly in critical condition. “This is much larger than anyone can begin to imagine,” Broncos president Kevin Garinger was quoted as saying by CBC. “We are just in utter disbelief and shock at the loss that’s fallen upon us.”
