A bomb went off during mass prayers in the Bangladeshi town of Kishoreganj on Thursday, killing two and injuring at least five others. One of those killed was a policeman, according to local reports. A gun battle between police and the assailants broke out after the attack, which police say started when explosive devices were thrown at police. The attack took place near a school outside a prayer area, where an estimated 200,000 people had gathered to mark the end of Ramadan. It comes less than a week after more than 20 people were killed when Islamist militants attacked a café.
