The heat wave continues as 29 states issue heat advisories today. Several northeastern cities, including Washington, D.C., and Baltimore, are also at code-red air-quality levels, meaning the air is unhealthy for all people. Chicago also reported unhealthy smog levels. Temperatures on the East Coast are forecast to reach into the 90s and 100s today, but with humidity it's expected to feel like 115 degrees. In Oklahoma, where the heat wave passed earlier, the governor eased vehicle restrictions to rush food to starving cattle. At least 22 people have died from the heat wave so far.
