A raging fire left at least three dead and 30 missing in a retirement center in a rural town in Quebec early Thursday morning. There are 52 units in the building, and 37 of its inhabitants were at least 85 years old. Only five of the residents were fully autonomous and many of those unaccounted use wheelchairs and walkers. The local firefighter chief called it "a night from hell."
