Three workers were rescued from a Kentucky mine Monday night after being trapped for 14 hours. All of the men have been sent to a hospital, though they are reported to be in good condition. The James River Coal Company's Jellico No. 1 mine’s diversion ditch failed due to flooding and trapped the miners 600 feet from the exit. Officials said there will be an investigation into safety conditions, and said they will be talking to the miners via phone to find out more information.
