Officials said Monday the U.S. cargo ship that vanished after Hurricane Joaquin ripped through the Bahamas last week appears to have sunk. The U.S. Coast Guard has notified the families of the 28 Americans among the 33 on board the El Faro container vessel. One person was found dead in a survival suit. A damaged life boat, life raft, cargo containers, and an oil sheen was also found. South Florida natives Jeremy Riehm, 46, and Steven Shultz, 51, were named by their families and a third American was identified as Keith Griffin.
