Four people were shot outside a Michigan high school Tuesday night, police said. Interim Muskegon Heights Police Chief Joseph E. Thomas, Jr. said two females and two males were shot in two different parking lots during a boys basketball game between Muskegon Heights Academy and Grand Rapids Ottawa Hills. Thomas said the shooting appeared to be part of an escalating dispute that began last week in Grand Rapids, to “settle the score—whatever that means.” Muskegon County deputies tried to break up a fight outside the game when a person drew a weapon on the sheriff’s department. Those injured were taken to a nearby hospital and some of the suspects are in custody, police said.
