A slew of prisoners escaped an Iraqi prison in Al-Khalis, a town north of Baghdad, after violent clashes with prison guards on Friday. The prisoners, some of whom faced terrorism charges, were able to take a weapon from a guard to assist in their escape. Five guards were killed and 40 total inmates escaped.
