A fifth victim has died as a result of the shooting two weeks ago when a student opened fire inside the cafeteria of Marysville-Pilchuck High School in Washington. 15-year-old Andrew Fryberg died on Friday of his wounds. He was cousins with the shooter, 14-year-old Jaylen Fryberg. 14-year-old Zoe Galasso died at the scene on Oct. 24. Gia Soriano, 14, died Oct. 26 at a local hospital of her injuries. Shaylee Chuckulnaskit, 14, died Oct. 31. The shooter died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Andrew Frybergâs family released a statement thanking âall the amazing staffâ who cared for the boy at the hospital. âWe express our thanks for the amazing support from the community, as well as from everyone around the world that have been praying for us all through this tragic event,â the statement said. Fryberg was the last student hospitalized as a result of the shooting. 14-year-old Nate Hatch, another cousin of the shooter, was shot in the jaw but released from a hospital and returned home on Thursday.
