According to a new report based on government data by the American Immigration Council, there have been more than 809 complaints about U.S. border-patrol agents over three years and only 1.6 percent of them have resulted in disciplinary action. Forty percent of the complaints concerned physical abuse and 38 percent were about excessive use of force. Most complaints were centered around Tucson, Rio Grande, and San Diego. The number of complaints may be even higher as there is no single complaints system.
