The world’s tiniest violin has come to a screeching halt, as it turns out Alex Rodriguez can no longer claim he is the victim of a Major League Baseball “witch hunt.” Back in January, Rodriguez admitted to the DEA that he bought performance-enhancing drugs from Biogenesis of America, and paid roughly $12,000 a month to Dr. Anthony Bosch. Rodriguez also admitted that Bosch gave him pre-filled syringes for hormone injections, drew blood from him in the men’s room of a South Beach nightclub, and that his cousin was his steroid gofer. However, even after Rodriguez admitted this to the DEA, he has continued to deny it publicly. Back in January, Rodriguez declared, “I have been clear that I did not use performance-enhancing substances... and in order to prove it, I will take this fight to federal court.”
