This gives a whole new meaning to Beantown. In Alex Rodriguez's first at-bat Sunday night against the Red Sox, the Yankees slugger was plunked by Ryan Dempster, seemingly intentionally. Yankees manager Joe Girardi was ejected while angrily defending A-Rod, but New York got the last laugh, with A-Rod later hitting a home run off Dempster and the Yankees winning 9-6.
