Adidas to Sell $1 Billion in Yeezy Sneakers, Donate Proceeds

In what might prove to be the weirdest sneaker drop of 2023, Adidas has announced plans to release the Yeezy line and donate the proceeds to anti-hate causes. Kanye West’s off-the-rails antisemitic remarks and the termination of his deal with Adidas put $1 billion worth of stock in limbo, the Associated Press reported. Adidas said the sale will benefit Anti-Defamation League, the Philonise & Keeta Floyd Institute for Social Change, and other groups.
