After inadvertently referring to the three Central American nations that President Trump plans to cut aid to as “3 Mexican Countries” over the weekend, the Fox & Friends crew on Monday morning showed a correct map, possibly to make it clear that someone knows geography. They also named the countries of El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras, identifying them clearly as Central American nations several times in the segment. Fox News had issued a correction over the weekend: “We had an inaccurate graphic onscreen while taking about this very story. We just want to be clear, the funding is being cut off to the three Central American countries,” the network said in a statement to The Daily Beast. “We apologize for the error—it never should’ve happened.”
