A high alert has been lifted from the campus of Virginia Tech, the college that was the scene of the worst school shooting in U.S. history just four years ago. The campus was in lockdown Thursday after three youths attending an academic camp reported seeing a man, about six feet tall, near a campus dining hall and carrying what they thought to be a gun hidden under a cloth. The campus was then locked down, and students were advised to stay inside. A search hasn't turned up any leads, and a high police presence remains.
