Newly sworn-in Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez posted a video Friday of herself dancing into her new office on Twitter, a direct response to an old clip of her dancing that was spread by an anonymous right-wing Twitter account on Thursday. The first tweet featured an edited clip from a video of Ocasio-Cortez dancing with other Boston University students to moves from The Breakfast Club and the song “Lisztomania” by Phoenix. The first video, intended to apparently undermine then congresswoman, went viral, but only gained condemnation from some ultraconservatives. “I hear the GOP thinks women dancing are scandalous,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote. “Wait till they find out Congresswomen dance too!”
