Amazon plans to get into the tablet-computer game. The online retailer hopes to introduce its rival to Apple's iPad and other tablets before October, according to The Wall Street Journal. Amazon's tablet is expected to have a nine-inch screen and will run on Google's Android operating system. The company will also release two updated versions of the Kindle before October, one of which will be a touchscreen version.
