A producer for Amazon Studios has gone public with sexual-harassment allegations against Roy Price, the programming chief for the streaming service. Isa Hackett, 50, executive producer for Man in the High Castle, alleges that Price in 2015 “repeatedly and insistently propositioned her” while they were in a cab in San Diego with phrases such as, “You will love my dick.” Hackett reportedly told multiple people about the incident “in the hours” after it happened. “We take seriously any questions about the conduct of our employees,” an Amazon spokesperson told The Hollywood Reporter. The allegations come amid similar mounting accusations against disgraced film producer Harvey Weinstein. Hours after the story was published, Price was suspended. “Roy Price is on leave of absence effective immediately,” Amazon said in a statement. Price has declined to comment.
