Vicious

The battle between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie is becoming more vicious as the weeks go by, with Jolie demanding Pitt’s visits to the kids to be monitored.

The Jolie-Pitt divorce battle is getting nastier and nastier, with one source describing it as War of the Roses redux.

With there being no dispute about financial terms (the couple reportedly have 12 properties in all, and seven of those belong to Pitt, two to Jolie, and three are owned together), the battle looks set to focus instead on custody arrangements for their six children.

And all the indications are that the fight over Pitt’s access to the children is becoming increasingly vicious, and that the divorce will be focused entirely on this one issue.

The Jolie camp is continuing to make insinuations that Pitt has substance-abuse and anger issues.

Her team’s much-repeated and off-the-record allegations are that Brad is a “bad dad” with anger-management issues exacerbated by a love of weed and alcohol.

The latest intel suggests Jolie is refusing to back down on her insistence that Brad get nothing other than monitored visitation with the kids “until he gets his shit together,” according to a new report on TMZ.

The riposte from the Jolie camp comes after Brad filed legal documents seeking joint physical custody of their six kids at the end of last week. Jolie is, predictably, refusing to budge, “asking for primary physical custody, with Brad getting visitation... (and) she wants the visits monitored,” claims TMZ.

Pitt is in a weak position, as he is the focus of an investigation by the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) into relations in the family, centering on a confrontation between him and his son Maddox that took place on a private jet.

It was this fight that allegedly triggered Jolie to file for divorce.

Both Pitt and Jolie in their filings cite the date of their seperation as Sept. 15.

DCFS has, according to TMZ, expanded its investigation to other alleged incidents, “including interactions between Brad and Angelina which were allegedly witnessed by one or more of their six kids.”

TMZ adds that some of the children “have been fearful around Brad, and Maddox in particular has problems with his dad.”

Brad’s team told TMZ that the custody arrangement is riding on the conclusions of DCFS, “and they believe the agency will determine Brad is a good parent.”

A source in the Jolie camp told TMZ that the fight is looking more and more like “War of the Roses redux.”
