Ann Coulter lashed out at President Donald Trump on Twitter Saturday afternoon in response to his proposal to Democrats to end the longest government shutdown in American history by exchanging “legislative relief for 700,000 DACA recipients” for $5.7 billion to build his border wall. “Trump proposes amnesty. We voted for Trump and got Jeb!” Coulter snarked, adding, “100 miles of border wall in exchange for amnestying millions of illegals. So if we grant citizenship to a BILLION foreigners, maybe we can finally get a full border wall.” House Majority Leader Nancy Pelosi swiftly shot down Trump’s offer because, among other things, it “does not include the permanent solution.” The last time Coulter attacked Trump for reportedly caving on his threats to shut down the government for the wall—declaring, “Trump will just have been a joke presidency who scammed the American people, amused the populists for a while, but he’ll have no legacy whatsoever”—the president promptly reversed course and has now kept the government partially closed for nearly a month.
