Musician Annie Lennox’s 22-year-old daughter, model and artist Tali Lennox-Fruchtman, and her boyfriend Ian Jones were reportedly in a kayaking accident Saturday morning outside Poughkeepsie, New York. Jones, 32, is still missing. Dutchess County Sheriff’s Captain John Watterson says the couple capsized around 9:30 a.m. and that alcohol may have played a role. “The current in the Hudson River is very strong and we believe the current played a role in the kayak capsizing, and once the two got in the water it was difficult for them to stay together,” Watterson said. Lennox-Fruchtman was picked up by a passing boat and but there was no sign of Jones. Lennox-Fruchtman was evaluated at the scene and did not require further treatment. According to reports, neither Jones nor Lennox-Fruchtman wore life jackets.
