The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit ruled Friday evening that the third version of President Donald Trump’s proposed ban on immigrants from primarily Muslim nations was a violation of federal law and exceeded his authority. The court stayed its ruling pending review of its decision by the U.S. Supreme Court.
