Apple is reportedly exploring the option of buying Jay Z’s music-streaming service Tidal, which would bring more artists onboard who exclusively release their content on the rapper’s product, including Kanye West and Beyoncé. The rumored acquisition comes at a time when Apple is attempting to invest more in its music platform, including a new redesign. Tidal has focused primarily on sound quality at a price of $20 a month for subscribers.
