An arrest warrant has been issued for actress Rose McGowan over a felony drug-possession charge from January. McGowan, who has been at the center of the Harvey Weinstein scandal, is being sought to appear in a Loudoun County, Virginia, court for an incident at Washington’s Dulles International Airport on Jan. 20, the Associated Press reports. Police say personal belongings left behind by McGowan on a United flight that day were found to contain traces of narcotics. The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Police Department obtained a warrant over the charges on Feb. 1, and it has now been entered into a national law-enforcement database. On Twitter, McGowan called news of the warrant “a load of horseshit.” “Are they trying to silence me?” she wrote.
