TO CATCH OR BE CAUGHT

The TV host said the matter “is currently being resolved” following a “miscommunication” about a court hearing where he was meant to provide video evidence.

To Catch a Predator host Chris Hansen had a warrant out for his arrest in Michigan after he failed to appear in court Thursday. The warrant stems from a subpoena authorities say Hansen ignored involving a police sting operation conducted in October of last year, about which he was called to testify. Hansen took to Instagram late Thursday to explain that the legal imbroglio was the result of a “miscommunication about a hearing.”

“Defense lawyers for accused predator Michael Lott had requested video from the investigation. … The matter is currently being resolved!” he wrote. The sting at the center of the investigation ended in the arrest of three men who allegedly arranged to meet up with underage girls for sex.
