Authorities in Southern California have arrested a 32-year-old man accused of setting multiple fires in the area, including a massive brush fire in the San Bernardino National Forest that prompted widespread evacuations late Wednesday. The suspect, identified as Brandon N. McGlover, has been booked on five counts of arson and may face additional charges as the investigation continues. McGlover allegedly started the so-called Cranston Fire, which fire officials say has burned through 4,700 acres and remains 5 percent contained. Five homes were destroyed in the blaze, while 600 more remain under threat. Several residential communities and summer camps throughout Riverside County have also been evacuated as a result of the fires.
