Former gymnastics sports doctor and convicted child molester Larry Nassar on Tuesday heard the impact statements of the nearly 100 women and girls who were forced to endure abuse at his hands. Kyle Stephens, the first to speak at the hearing, told the 54-year-old that she wanted the world to “know that you are a repulsive liar.” Stephens said she was repeatedly abused by Nassar from age 6 to age 12. “Perhaps you have figured it out by now, but little girls don’t stay little forever,” she continued. “They grow into strong women that... destroy your world.” The state attorney general’s office has sought a sentence of 40 to 125 years in prison in addition to the 60 years in federal prison he must serve for separate child-pornography crimes.
