A jury has found Aurora movie-theater shooter James Holmes guilty of murder in the first-degree. The jurors began deliberating Wednesday and were tasked with deciding whether or not Holmes, who faced 165 charges, was sane when he opened fire, killing 12 people and leaving 70 others injured during the midnight premiere of The Dark Knight Rises in 2012. The burden of proof fell on prosecutors, who successfully convinced jurors that Holmes was sane at the time. More than 200 witnesses were called to the stand over three months. Holmes is now eligible for the death penalty.
