Kellyanne Conway, counselor to President Trump, is the “number one leaker” in the White House, according to author Ronald Kessler. Speaking to CNN on Sunday, Kessler said Conway had on at least one occasion forgotten an interview she was doing with him was on-the-record and blasted many of her colleagues. She reportedly “dissed” White House senior adviser Jared Kushner and first daughter Ivanka Trump before saying “mean, cutting and honestly untrue” things about former chief of staff Reince Priebus. Kessler did not offer specifics on the things Conway allegedly said. But he said Conway’s alleged habit of leaking had also been observed by White House aides who “have seen texts she has sent to other journalists dissing her colleagues, leaking material.” Kessler’s upcoming book, The Trump White House: Changing the Rules of the Game, is due out in stores Tuesday. Among other “juicy tidbits” in the book, it portrays Kushner and Ivanka Trump as the driving force behind many of the president’s most “disastrous” political fiascos, including the firing of James Comey.
