Ever since his 1995 debut, The Brothers McMullen, Burns has found unique ways of making truly independent films—including She’s the One and Sidewalks of New York. He’s also acted in many acclaimed Hollywood films, including Saving Private Ryan, Confidence, and the upcoming Friends with Kids.
