Avengers: Age of Ultron, the summer’s first blockbuster, pulled in $187.7 million in the North American box office over the weekend, which is good enough for the second highest opening ever, behind The Avengers. It has also raked in $627 million worldwide. Analysts point to the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight as part of the reason why the sequel did not best its predecessor. The Blake Lively film The Age of Adeline came in a distant second with $6.3 million, followed by Furious 7 with $6.1 million. Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 came in fourth with $5.5 million.
