Instagram model and “Bad Girls Club” alum Shannade Clermont allegedly stole over $20,000 from a dead man she went on a “prostitution date” with hours before he overdosed on cocaine and fentanyl, according to federal prosecutors. On Wednesday, the U.S. Attorney’s Office charged the 24-year-old with wire fraud, access device fraud, and aggravated identity theft. Last year, Clermont met up with the unidentified victim for $400, prosecutors said. A doorman saw Clermont hours before the man’s body was discovered. Federal officials claim the model used the man’s credit card to pay for her rent, phone bills, plane tickets, and clothing. The reality star was arrested on Wednesday at LaGuardia Airport in New York, but she was later released on $100,000 bond. “As alleged, Shannade Clermont, a former cast member of the ‘Bad Girls Club’ lived up to her reality series reputation,” U.S. Attorney Geoffrey Berman said. “Clermont’s new reality is federal prosecution for her alleged nefarious conduct.” Clermont appeared in court with her twin Shannon, a fellow social-media influencer. The sisters posed as Kardashian clones in Kanye West’s latest Yeezy campaign.
