Dear Alec Baldwin, if you ever ranted on your MSNBC show like you do at tabloid reporters, it could probably come back as a daytime talk show. The actor wrote in a blog post Saturday that he may not return to MSNBC after his suspension is over—due to the “tabloid media” harassing him with tactics that “should be illegal.” Baldwin’s show, Up Late, is on a two-week hiatus after Baldwin was caught on camera berating a photographer with a gay slur, although Baldwin has insisted he said “fathead” and not a gay slur. Sure. “My friends who happen to be gay are baffled by this,” Baldwin said. Baldwin’s planned special on Kennedy’s assassination will not air now, he wrote. Well there is the real tragedy here.
