Former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon is expected to skip Tuesday’s testimony before the House Intelligence Committee, CNN reports. Bannon previously clashed with the committee during a 10-hour testimony in January, during which he reportedly refused to answer the committee's questions on Russian interference in the 2016 election. Committee members subpoenaed him to compel him to answer questions on Tuesday’s forthcoming appearance, which he has postponed twice. He is reportedly refusing this latest appearance on the grounds that he and the committee have not agreed on the topics on which members can question him. If Bannon skips the meeting or refuses to answer questions, he could be found in contempt.
