For the first time in her 56 year-long history, Barbie will be allowed to wear comfortable shoes. Mattel’s Barbie Fashionistas line equips dolls with adjustable ankles that let them wear flats instead of heels, for once. The line also includes dolls of eight different skin tones, 14 different “facial sculpts,” 18 eye colors and 23 hair colors.
