Barron Trump is reaching across the aisle–literally. After Donald Trump took the oath of office at his inauguration on Monday, Barron walked over to shake hands with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, who his father defeated in the November election. Social media users praised Barron’s actions, with one user calling him “the only one with a smidgen of class.” Another user said, “this kid will be our President one day.” “Seems like a very respectful young man with all things considered,” another commenter wrote. The first son, 18, has been largely out of the spotlight since Trump’s first inauguration eight years ago. Recently, however, the New York University freshman has taken a more hands-on role in politics. Last year, Trump credited Barron with some behind-the-scenes work on the campaign to appeal to young voters. The president appeared on several popular podcasts at Barron’s request. ”He’ll tell me sometimes, ‘Dad, this is what you have to do,’” Trump said in October.
Barron Trump is top notch class here as he extends a handshake to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
