A new Quinnipiac poll released Thursday shows Bernie Sanders leading Hillary Clinton in Iowa for the first time among likely Democratic caucus-goers. The lead is slight, with Sanders getting 41 percent to Clinton’s 40 and Joe Biden’s 13, but it’s a marked improvement for the Vermont senator when compared with Clinton’s 52-33 lead in the last Quinnipiac poll in July. It also comes as surveys show support for Sanders surging in New Hampshire. A NBC News/Marist poll last weekend, however, showed Sanders getting just 27 percent to Clinton’s 38 and Biden’s 20.
